Quantity planning guide

How many photo magnets should you order?

Start with who is receiving the magnets and what each magnet is meant to do. A gift set and a guest-favor order need very different quantity planning.

Count recipients before you count photos.

For a personal gift, the right quantity is usually the number of memories you want in the set. For an event, the right quantity starts with the people or households you actually intend to give a magnet to.

Do not assume every event needs one magnet per guest. Some hosts plan one per person, others one per household, and others use magnets only for close family or selected tables. Decide your distribution plan first.

Standard Magnetic Gems photo magnet pricing is 1 for $5, 3 for $12, 6 for $22, and 12 for $35. Larger event quantities should use the quote path instead of stacking standard packs without a plan.

1 magnet

Choose one magnet when one image is the whole gift.

A single magnet works when there is one standout photo you want to turn into a keepsake without building a larger set. It can also be useful when you want one meaningful image rather than a collection.

3 magnets

A 3-pack works well for a focused mini-story.

Three magnets can cover one person, pet, trip, or milestone without requiring a large photo selection. Think portrait, candid, and one supporting memory rather than three nearly identical images.

6 magnets

A 6-pack gives a family or gift set room for variety.

Six magnets are enough to mix close-ups, group photos, pets, milestones, and candid moments while still keeping the set easy to understand. This is useful when several different memories belong in the same gift.

12 magnets

A 12-pack fits a fuller timeline or larger family collection.

Twelve magnets give you room for a year-in-review, a larger family collection, a trip timeline, or a set that will be split among several relatives. If the main goal is a larger event favor order, use the event quote path instead of treating a 12-pack as a bulk pricing promise.

Events

For event favors, count recipients or households first.

Write down the number of people or households you intend to give a magnet to, then decide whether everyone receives the same design or whether there are multiple designs.

If the quantity is larger than the standard gift packs, request a quote with the event date, quantity, and design idea. That keeps the order aligned with the actual guest plan instead of forcing an event into consumer pack quantities.

Duplicates

A larger magnet count does not always require more photo files.

If several recipients should receive the same photo or event design, upload the best version once and explain the repeat pattern. Quantity and number of unique photo files are not always the same thing.

Questions

Photo magnet quantity questions

A few practical answers before you upload your photos.

Should I order one magnet for every event guest?

Not necessarily. Decide whether your plan is one per person, one per household, selected family gifts, or another distribution plan before choosing the quantity.

Can I combine more than one standard pack?

Yes. You can build an order with more than one pack. For larger event-favor quantities, use the quote path so the order can be reviewed as an event.

Do I need one unique photo for every magnet?

No. Photos can repeat. Use order notes to explain the duplicate pattern.

Which pack is best for a family gift?

Choose based on the number of meaningful photos you want to include. Three makes a focused mini-set, six allows more variety, and twelve supports a fuller collection.
