Helpful answers for ordering custom photo magnets, tap-to-play magnets, event favors, and personalized keepsakes from Magnetic Gems in Edinburg and the RGV.
What size are the standard photo magnets?
Our standard photo magnets are 2.5 inches and designed as square keepsakes for fridges, lockers, offices, gift displays, and magnetic boards.
How many photos should I upload?
Upload up to the number of magnets in your pack: 1, 3, 6, or 12 photos. If you want the same photo used more than once, upload the photo once and explain the copies in the notes.
Can I use the same photo for every magnet?
Yes. Add a note like “use this photo for all 6 magnets” or “make 3 copies of photo 1 and 3 copies of photo 2.”
What photo quality works best?
Original, clear, bright photos print best. Screenshots can sometimes work, but they may print softer or blurrier. Avoid photos where faces, names, dates, or important details are too close to the edge. For a step-by-step checklist, see our guide to choosing photos for custom photo magnets.
Will my photo be cropped?
Most magnets are square, so some cropping may be needed. If you want a specific crop, include it in the notes. If something may not print well, Magnetic Gems may reach out before production.
What is required for a Tap-to-Play magnet?
Choose the Tap-to-Play Magnet option, upload the photo/design you want, and paste the Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, playlist, video, or other link before checkout.
How do I pay?
Checkout uses Square for secure online payment by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay when available. Your order is saved before payment so support can help if the payment step has an issue.
Do you offer pickup, delivery, or shipping?
Yes. Local pickup is available in Edinburg, TX. Local delivery may be available in select RGV areas when offered at checkout, and shipping is available for eligible orders.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact Magnetic Gems as soon as possible. Changes and cancellations are easiest before production begins. Once a custom photo order is in production, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Are custom photo magnets refundable?
Because photo magnets are personalized, refunds may not be available once production begins. Damaged or incorrect items can be reviewed for replacement, correction, or refund depending on the situation.
What happens after checkout?
You will receive an order number. Magnetic Gems reviews your photos and notes, contacts you if anything is missing, produces the order, and updates pickup, delivery, shipping, or completion details.
Are my uploaded family photos kept private?
Yes. Uploaded photos are used to fulfill your order and are not shared publicly without your permission. See the Photo Upload Policy and Privacy Policy.
